Last Monday (August 10, 2009) someone went to our school to discuss something called “The Historical Truth”. The Historical truths are facts that really happened in our country for the past few years. To be honest I didn’t understand much of the talk because of my headache which is bothering me. At first the talk is all about the difference of a martyr and a revolutionary hero, a martyr was given a chance to live but it is them who have chosen their fate while if you are revolutionary hero you should always be ready to give up your life because it was your choice from the start. Another thing that was discussed is that the U.S. was not really a country who is very willing to help our country but a country which is making our country worst than ever. Why do I say so? Because it was discussed there that the government of U.S. will encourage our country; the Philippines to invest to a big project and will let us borrow a great deal of money, that money before was only a some peso away but because the dollar rate was getting higher and higher and the debts are becoming bigger than ever. The truth is our is not really Japans target when they got here, their main target is the U.S. and country was just included in the war because the U.S. troops are in our country. It seems like U.S. is just like a devil in disguise, we salute them and follow most of their requests or commands but the real deal is that they want to benefit from our country. It is said there that one person told the U.S. government that letting the Philippines become independent will make them more dependent because we all know that our country is not that rich and we need a great amount of money in order to survive poverty so the U.S. took advantage of it and bury us in great debts. Another fact is that the U.S. wants the Mindanao part of our country and still thru some things. Another thing is that the candidate who wants to run for the next elections should not only focus in poverty and the poor but they should have a platform that will make our country better and not worst. There are still lots of issues discussed but I only mention few of them, well before I end my reaction paper I just want to that We Should love our country and fight for our rights our dear mother country a better place for every Filipinos.

Actually right now i still don't know what path to take. There are still a lot of questions that i haven't answered. Questions like "Is the course that I'm taking up right for me?" or "Will I find the right one?" and also "What am I going to do with my life after college?"

To be honest, I don't really like my course that much, I wanted to take up Culinary Arts or maybe, Fashion Design, or anything that involves designing and cooking. And of course I also want to take up Photography.

Besides that stuff that involves important things, I want to own a huge collection of loli-dresses, ball-jointed dolls, and porcelain dolls (yeah... I'm a doll addict ^-^) and I want to be with "him". I also want to go to Japan and buy a lot of clothes, CD's, bags, shoes, hot sexy cosplayers, and even cross dressers. I'd also like to kidnap the Gazette and keep them in my closet for my personal use. ^_~.

And of course I want to be with "him forever and ever and ever, and have a good future and him and have his babies... jk. I'm not yet ready, a girl can dream can't she? (lol)

I, not only want to visit Japan, I also want to live there, study there, with my friends JC, Rochelle, JP, and Truffles... well maybe not Truffles... he has too much money to be with us T-T. And we'll all live in a happy compound where we will raise our kids to be just like us. Well, just as crazy as us I mean.

I also want to model loli-dresses and make money out of it... and maybe a great cosplayer, as good as Arisa Mizuhara.

I think that's all of it, there is just way too many that i might break my lapt0p in typing this... oh well, bye-bye for now ^-^ <3

Last Monday we were invited to watch a documentary about the struggles of the farmers from sumilao and negros in order to get the land that supposed to be theirs. Upon seeing this kind of things, I was extremely shocked that this thing really happened in the real life, it really broke my heart to see people suffering and there is nothing we can do about it. I feel really lucky because I have the chance to eat 3 times a day wear decent clothes and shoes unlike them who are really striving so hard in order to get the the piece of land that they want to have and that really belongs to them. From now on I'll be thrifty and instead of spending all of my money to things that are not that important and maybe Ican donate the money to them instead. And as college student maybe we can help them by spreading the word and the things that is happening to them by making blogs like this and maybe some articles.

My Passion

My Passion

what is passion? Passion can be expressed as a feeling of unusual excitement, enthusiasm or compelling emotion towards a subject, idea, person, or object.
A person is said to have a passion for something when they have a strong positive affinity for it.

What is my passion? Well, I admit I'm a person who has a lot of passions in life, I love to dance; for me dancing is one the things that I really love, with dancing I can express myself to other people and with dancing I can release my stress and anger. Another thing that I love to do is to play with dolls and dress them up, I even wanted to make my self a doll like the BJD'S. I'm also passionate in cosplaying or costume play because it is really fun to wear costumes and portray your favorite characters and lastly my greatest passion is Photography. I love to take pictures and make an art out of it, every captured moments and every shots that I take makes me want to practice more and challenges me to do good and to enhance my skills in it.

Is altering digital photography a form of art or is it a fraud?

Well I guess at one point you can call photo manipulation or the altering of photos a fraud because this is a cheat that can make your photos look very beautiful, add some designs and effects an
d remove unwanted parts of the picture. It is also a fraud if you altered it and used it in bad things like for example the using of adobe Photoshop to ruin somebody or sometimes to make some issues and to forge some images. But for a photo manipulator like me I guess altering this photos and images are still a work of art because of instead of the plain picture you can add up some effects to it that will be more appealing to the eyes and still whether its a plain photograph or an altered one it's still a work of art because you have worked hard for it and you used your talents to make it.

well this is an example of a manipulated photo:

Well these are some photos that are altered and manipulated by me but i guess even it is altered it is still a work of art because i worked hard for it and so that the photograph will look good.

The Internet

The Internet started when the Advanced Research Projects Agency (ARPA) of the United States Defense Department began a network called ARPANET in 1969. In 1973, the U.S. Defense Advanced Research Projects Agency (DARPA) initiated a research program to investigate techniques and technologies for interlinking packet networks of various kinds. The objective was to develop communication protocols which would allow networked computers to communicate transparently across multiple, linked packet networks. This was called the Internetting project and the system of networks which emerged from the research was known as the "Internet." The system of protocols which was developed over the course of this research effort became known as the TCP/IP Protocol Suite, after the two initial protocols developed: Transmission Control Protocol (TCP) and Internet Protocol (IP).

The Internet was conceived in the 1960s as a tool to link university and government research centers via a nationwide network that would allow a wide variety of computers to exchange information and share resources. The engineering challenges were manifold and complex, beginning with the design of a packet switching network-a system that could make computers communicate with each other without the need for a traditional central system. Other challenges included the design of the machines, data exchange protocols, and software to run it. What eventually grew out of this endeavor is a miraculous low-cost technology that is swiftly and dramatically changing the world. It is available to people at home, in schools and universities, and in public libraries and "cyber cafes."

The Internet is not owned or controlled by any company, corporation, or nation. It connects people in 65 countries instantaneously through computers, fiber optics, satellites, and phone lines. It is changing cultural patterns, business practices, the consumer industry, and research and educational pursuits.

"Computer Gaming"

Is it really good or bad for us? Well for me Computer Gaming can be good at some ways but bad for you when you get addicted to it. As a gamer myself I really do enjoy playing games in the computer specially the ones where I can get to chat and play with my friends in the game, this is fun and somehow relaxing because all of your tensions and problems will be gone once your set with the game. Playing these games also gives me happiness whenever I won or whenever I killed an enemy. But there is a lesson that I learned from it, and that is "Never make computer gaming the center of your life", I can say that because I once made this mistake and I got poor grades because all I ever think of is the game and strategies that can help to become more powerful and how I could win it. Another thing that happened to me is that I became violent because I didn't know that playing those games especially the violent ones changes my behavior. Based on my survey almost 90% of the gamers around the world are addicted to computer games and a large number of those gamers are having problems in their school, work and even at home.
